Soft, chewy, and loaded with gooey chocolate chips — these cookies are a family favorite!
Perfect with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee.
Makes about 2 dozen
Ingredients
- 12 TBS salted butter, room tempature
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 room tempature egg
- 2 TBS milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 11.5 ounce bag milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter and sugars until smooth.
- With a light hand,add milk,vanilla, and egg. Mix until blended but do not over mix.
- In a separate bowl, sift together, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add into wet ingredients, stirring with a rubber spatula works best. Do not over mix.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet. If dough is too sticky slowly add 1/4 cup flour or 2 TBS cornstarch. Bake 8-11 minutes until the shine is gone.
- Cool on pan for 10 mins then move on to a wire rack. Enjoy!
