Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft, chewy, and loaded with gooey chocolate chips — these cookies are a family favorite! Perfect with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee.

Makes about 2 dozen

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. With a light hand,add milk,vanilla, and egg. Mix until blended but do not over mix.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add into wet ingredients, stirring with a rubber spatula works best. Do not over mix.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet. If dough is too sticky slowly add 1/4 cup flour or 2 TBS cornstarch. Bake 8-11 minutes until the shine is gone.
  7. Cool on pan for 10 mins then move on to a wire rack. Enjoy!
